Sol Bamba, a former defender for Cardiff and Leeds United, has died at the age of 39. Bamba, who was the technical director at Turkish club Adanaspor, fell ill before a match against Manisa Football Club and passed away in hospital. The news was confirmed by Adanaspor, which expressed deep condolences to his family and the football community.
